Brain Games

Dear Readers,

B4 Literacy will began introducing a series of Brain Games. These games will help to develop your baby's brain.

When a healthy baby is born, breathing, digestion and sleeping come naturally if all of these functions have developed correctly. But the areas of thinking, reasoning and remembering have to be developed in the early years of life. Research says that forming categories is difficult and demanding and needs plenty of practice.

Try this game with your toddler:
Choose a category such as fruit. Ask your child to think of three things he likes in that category.

Example: for fruit, he/she might say I like apples, peaches and bananas.

Repeat with three things he dislikes in the same category.

Mom, Dad, caregiver, sibling can play this game also with the toddler for more fun!
